Reconnect with the inner musician in you and participate in a collective music-making experience via a series of learning/instructional participatory workshops. Get Your Chops Back (GYCB) is a gathering of adult non-professional musicians who have not made music in a while, or as often as they like. It provides the opportunity to engage, re-connect, and make music again in a mistakes-allowed, stress-free encouraging environment, and to have fun.

- GYCB Afro-Cuban Jam in San Pedro
Experience the timeless rhythms of Cuba through song, harmony, and rhythms in a workshop series for non-professional musicians who drum or sing.

Re-discover the essence of jazz in a not-so-standard, larger-than-life Jazz Combo workshop series designed for non-professional musicians.

Re-connect with the language of drumming and join a snare drum workshop series exploring the diversity of sounds created using sticks, mallets, brushes, and hands.

The Music Center is located at 135 N. Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. Parking is available in Music Center garage for $9. No photography, videotaping, and recordings of any kind allowed.
