The San Jose-based five member band Los Tigres Del Norte has been widely hailed for their celebratory music which honors the immigrant experience. The band has been called the godfathers of Norteño music and has been instrumental in helping to modernize the genre, adding electric bass guitars and modern percussion to the mix.

Over the course of their four-decade career, Los Tigres has achieved worldwide sales in excess of 35 million copies, has filled numerous stadiums, and has received critical praise around the globe.
